I just wanted to thank you both for organising our holiday so well, we all had a great time. Everything we wanted for the baby in the first week was there and we had a brilliant week with my son, his wife and her. The second week was great too with my other son and wife arriving with two friends who you accommodated in No.8. They all loved the island and want to come back.

Can you also give a BIG BIG thanks to Elaine for organising our trip back to Ibiza. We left our bags at the hotel by the port and had a lovely walk around the old town before heading out to the airport.

Maurna and I have just returned from our first visit to the beautiful island of Formentera. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our accommodation at Marcellinos (Es Pujols) was beautiful, peaceful and slightly remote (a good thing). A healthy five minute walk got us in to the town where the food and drink was delicious. The welcome pack was an absolute delight of a surprise and the little personal touches like proper wine glasses, cotton table cloth, beach parasol and a free and secure safe made the accommodation stand head and shoulders above anywhere that we had experienced before.

Lesley and Elaine where really helpful and friendly and your service throughout, from booking to our return is a testament to your professionalism, enthusiasm and passion.

We have been singing your praises to colleagues non-stop since our return and hope that you get some business from our recommendations. We will certainly be using you again next year and wish to extend a heart-felt “Thank You” from both of us for making our holiday a memorable experience for all the right reasons. It is easy to see why you have been so successful in business for so long.

Returned from Formentera on Saturday and I feel bound to say a big thank you to all at Astbury Formentera who
contributed to a wonderful holiday. I was entirely delighted with every aspect of the trip and I can't thank Elaine enough for taking care of the return arrangements for me - she really did way more than was necessary and it really helped put my mind at ease so I could enjoy the holiday.

Your recommendations on the accommodation were absolutely spot on - the apartment could not have been more suitable and

I loved Es Calo - it was much more suited to me than, say, Es Pujols or one of the big hotel developments. It was
exactly the kind of quiet, relaxing holiday I had been hoping for.

So I do hope you will pass my thanks on to Elaine and Lesley in Formentera and of course you must take a big credit for your part too!

Back now from Formentera, and I just want to thank you for arranging our complicated holiday. Our week of apartment-hopping was a success. It probably only worked because we know the island quite well, so there was no faffing about!

Voga Mari was definately the best place we stayed, of the apartments we had. Of course staying at Tahiti was a real treat, we didn't realise the luxury until we checked in!

So thanks again, and hopefully we will be back again next summer - or even before - if we can work out the time off!

First of all, apologies for the delay in contacting you again. Mum and Dad got back from holiday a few weeks ago and they were delighted with the flowers and cava that Elaine organised for them. Please, please can you pass on our sincere thanks to her for all her trouble. I hadn't appreciated until Mum and Dad told me how difficult it is to get fresh flowers on the island. It must have been a hassle for her, but it really made their day and we do so appreciate that Elaine did this for us.

Both myself and my boyfriend have just returned from Formentera and would like to say we had a fabulous time. Apartment 15 at Voga Mari was very nice and both Amy (I think that was the receptionists name) and more importantly Elaine were extremely helpful during arrival and departure. The apartment itself was very clean and had an amazing view and it was very nice to arrive to a fridge of San Miguel, wine and water.

We had an amazing holiday and we wish we could have stayed there longer.

This is just a quick note to thank you for the quality of the service we received from you in relation to our recent
gorgeous holiday.
Everything from the initial support and advice during the booking process, (thanks Rachel,) to the final drop off at
Ibiza airport by Dipesa was just perfect. The arrangements offered the right balance of support and independence and we particularly appreciate Elaine's friendliness and reliability despite the delay on our incoming flight.

Ses Basses was superb - that front and back balcony was a real bonus - and that view of the perfect sea will gladden us for a long time. Additionally some little things made a very positive impact on our stay; the 'welcome pack' was just right - we didn't arrive until after 10 pm so being able to whip up a cheesy omelette and enjoy a glass of wine that evening was great, also to have coffee and bread available in the morning before we went out exploring set us up nicely.

We enjoy the flexibility of self-catering so to have washing-up liquid, tea towels, pan scrubbers and a corkscrew was very helpful - believe me we've been to places where we had to go out and buy all those items on the first day!

Finally the access to your reception area made our last day so much smoother, we had a late flight so being able to spend the day on the beach and freshen up before we left seemed to extend the holiday that little bit more.

Regarding our recent holiday at Talaya on Migjorn beach.

As far as the beaches were concerned as far as we were concerned the one adjacent to us was super. Did not find anywhere else to touch it as far as space nos and the quality of the sand in particular.
The fact that as a % the number of actual naturists in the 2 blocks was limited was no problem. We hardly saw anybody else. Quite amazing. The majority did not get up until late and then dis-appeared so being discrete one could be naturist virtually all the time accept for going along to the restaurant or the shop in the hotel. I found life back in Chipping Norton without the freedom quite a challenge.

We were quite amused as to how many people were return visitors.
If you want potential clients to have a word about the situation, before they decide to go to this part of the island, no problem. Will be pleased to confirm the situation as we found it and to recommend it.

We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our holiday – how much we liked Formentera and how impressed we were with our accommodation and help and advice that Elaine gave us during our stay.

We have been trying to find a holiday to an unspoilt location, not too long a flight away and where the rep treats you like a responsible adult! Until now we had failed, but this holiday met all our criteria.

We really did have a great time and are considering another visit later on this year, as well as returning our advance proforma for next year.

Please convey our thanks to Rachel and Elaine and we hope to travel with you on many occasions.

We have just returned from two glorious weeks in Formentera. We found it every bit as good as you told us it would be.

Your information was accurate and very helpful. We hired cycles and saw most of the island. We visited most of the beaches, but usually went back to our own at Es Calo – we stayed in the village it was less crowded. The swimming here was fantastic, we had never tried snorkelling before but went out and bought masks etc and soon mastered it. And what a sight it was on the sea bed under that lovely clear water.

So Thank you for going to the trouble to write your letter, keep up the good work and encourage more people to visit Formentera, I certainly hope to go again.

My wife and I have just got back from our first ever week in Formentera, and I thought I would drop you a line to say thank you for all your help in guiding us when booking – the holiday was absolutely splendid, and we marvelled at the smooth way in which the Astbury system operated – everything went exactly the way you had planned it. Your advice on location was spot-on, given the time of year we travelled. We loved the island, and thought that the Marcelino house was fabulous – I don’t know who organised the welcome pack, but it contained everything and more that we needed, and the beer was especially welcome on the first night.

Above all though, we wanted to record our appreciation of Elaine who was nothing short of brilliant – what a treasure! The personal service is something that we will always remember, and is so completely at odds with any previous experience of holiday reps. Please convey our thanks to her. We will definitely be going back to Formentera at some time in the future, and with Astbury Formentera.

We returned on the 1st October, from a very pleasant holiday in Es Calo. This was out first visit to stay in Es Calo and we found it very relaxing and very interesting.

Our accommodation in Ses Basses was excellent and certainly the best we have ever had over the ten years we have been visiting Formentera.

Just a quickie to say how much my girlfriend and I enjoyed our week at Casa Miguel’s in Es Calo. The apartment had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and the terrace was fantastic! Elaine was charming and very helpful, and our transfers etc really straightforward. We loved the island, and even managed an overnight trip to Pacha, just to see if we could still take the pace. Just!

This is just a note to say thank you and your staff, especially Elaine, for making our honeymoon such an enjoyable experience.

Formentera certainly lives up to its billing and we had a thoroughly relaxing time – very much appreciated after the stresses and adrenaline of the wedding day itself. All connections were on time and everything was remarkably smooth. Es Calo and the apartment were all we could of wished for. Miguel and Maria were very kind and helpful.

We’ll certainly be visiting the island again.

We have just returned from our second holiday with you in Formentera and were pleased to see that, despite some reports, the island is little changed after six years and appear's to be as naturist friendly as ever.

All arrangements went extremely well and your agents Village Travel and Dipesa did everything efficiently and we had a co-operative taxi driver to our apartment at Talaya. Best of all, perhaps, was the way the Elaine looked after our needs and gave helpful information during our stay.

One very welcome action on her part was to arrange for us to have the temporary use of a vacant bungalow for showering and changing during the three hours between clearing our own bungalow and getting on the Sabina taxi. I think that you have a treasure there! Talaya bungalows are of an excellent standard.

Firstly I would like to say it was good to meet you over on Formentera last week. Ellie and I had a fantastic holiday, if a little short. I fell in love with the island all over again.

It was great to see the place had not changed all that much. Yes there is more there now, but only in a good way. No Neon and no hordes of drunken yobbos.

The whole experience with your company was first class from beginning to end.

I am writing to tell you what a wonderful time we had, and to congratulate you and all your staff on your organisation. Indeed, one of the taxi drivers said to me that Astbury was probably the most efficiently run of all the agencies on the island! The name is obviously very well known; at a bar in San Francisco the barman was asking me where we were staying and when I said “Es Calo” he said “ah, Astbury; I know John Astbury well.”

The villa was just perfect for us. We liked the privacy enabling us to potter about without bothering with even a minimum of clothes. We could walk down to the sea naked, as you intimated to me on the phone, and indeed went for quite long walks along the coast and found ways through the woods across to Mitjorn beach so that the whole of that walk could be done naked except for crossing the main road if there was no gap in the traffic. We only took one suitcase between us, and most of the clothes came back unworn! We also found some longer proper walks through the varied woods and countryside which interested us and on future occasions will explore other parts of the island too.

About Elaine no praise is too high. As she may or may not have reported to you, I had to take a day out to go to Palma to attend to some legal matters arising from my father’s estate. Elaine booked and early morning taxi for me, and helped me to organise the flight through Viajes Islamar in San Francisco. At every turn Elaine was charming, helpful and completely efficient. You have a wonder-woman there!

Once again thank you for a memorable introduction to our new-found naturist paradise island. We shall certainly be Astbury customers again, and may even have the opportunity of meeting you in person some time.

It is now over a week since we returned from our holiday in Es Pujols so I must tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our holiday at the Hostal Tahiti.

We have been holidaying to Formentera, off and on, for over 25 years (we think!) now and have always stayed in apartments, and been perfectly happy, but we had noticed the upgrading of the Tahiti last year and thought we would give it a try. In particular the air conditioning makes the nights far more comfortable, which is a huge bonus, but the hotel is very nicely appointed, clean and stylish.

Elaine continues to be her usual charming, efficient self and it is very comforting to know that she is there if we need her help.

Very big thanks to everyone at Astbury for a fantastic holiday. We all fell in love with the island and hope to be back soon.

In the meantime I will be passing on your details to friends and colleagues – you were a pleasure to travel with and made the booking and journey, from beginning to end, extremely pain free.

Just to let you know that we had a wonderful fortnight in the Harbourside apartment! It was just the best place for our children, who had the most fantastic time swimming off the quayside and the rocks around the harbour: in fact, both learned to dive, by first jumping and then diving off the quayside into the water!

We all loved being so close to the sea (and to the bar Rafalet!) and the apartment was very comfortable and peaceful. Isabel’s family were all very friendly and welcoming and Elaine was informative, kind and very helpful.

We have just returned from a week’s holiday in Formentera and we would like to thank you for the recommendation of staying in the hostal Tahiti. The hotel was wonderful and is the best standard we have ever experienced. The travelling arrangements and support that we had were brilliant and we had a fantastic time.

I returned last Sunday from the Island. It was my first visit and I would like to say how impressed I was with the island and the service provided by yourselves.

I have normally travelled with the larger tour operators so was a little apprehensive about all the transfers but it all went like clockwork and I was especially impressed at being met by Elaine at the port who was very helpful and explained a lot to me.

The Beaches are some of the best in the world.

It was a perfect week at Talaya – just great!

Elaine was marvellous. We enjoyed both the separate bedroom apartment and the studio with its near private terrace.

If we came again we would even try to get this same number 7 studio. Astbury Formentera did a great job, I’ve been telling all my friends.

This is a (very) overdue e-mail to tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed our holiday at S’Eglesia apartment 1 in June.

We were collected at the airport immediately we arrived, caught a ferry from Ibiza a few minutes later and were met at La Savina by Elaine and a taxi. All very efficient! Elaine was always very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her.

The Villa was exactly what we wanted and is very well located. The views from the upstairs balcony, in every direction, are stunning. The maid service was sufficient to keep everything clean and tidy but was never intrusive. We have had experience in other countries of tripping over maids every morning as they come in the redistribute the sand across the floor!

I am writing with one huge complaint – our holiday wasn’t long enough!

Apart from that everything was terrific – we were most impressed by the villa (no 2) at Es Calo and could find nothing wanting. It wasn’t at all what I was expected and the extra bonus for us naturists was the privacy aspect of the villas situation. There can’t be many places with such a good view and yet be so private.

Elaine looked after us very well and Isabel presented us with a very clean home. Being able to stay for just one week was unfortunate because we made friends with two lots of people on the last two days of the week. One German couple have a villa on the island half way between Es Calo and San Fernando at Km 9 – just opposite the turning down to our favourite beach.

Thank you once again and I look forward to planning my next holiday with your company.

I had the pleasure of spending my summer vacation in one of your apartments on the island of Formentera and I feel I must write to compliment your company on the excellent service you provide.

Your pre holiday brochure and booking arrangements were dealt with most efficiently, the travel plans were first class. The apartment itself was excellent.

Our three week stay was the most enjoyable holiday we have ever had and once again I would like to congratulate all concerned both on choice of accommodation and efficiency of service. Thank you.

I feel I must write and express our delight with the wonderful holiday we had on the island of Formentera arranged through Astbury Formentera.

We were a little apprehensive booking by telephone – the villa and the arrangements to get there seemed too good to be true. It was not a dream – the dream came true!

The travel arrangements were excellent and all connected beautifully and all concerned were extremely efficient.

The island was just what we had hoped it would be - fairly quiet with beautiful uncrowded beaches and clear turquoise blue sea. Added to this there were excellent beach bars and restaurants throughout the island.

The Spanish style detached villa in Es Calo was attractive, spotlessly clean and more than adequate and overlooked the sea.

A wonderful holiday, with very happy memories.

Can I say we got back from a super week in Formentera. Thanks for that.

We could have saved the hire of the car as we went back to the salt flats, and a couple of other areas, and found we were on the best beach!

This reflected the safety of the beach, the easy access into the water with the sand just along the way. The number of people on the beach and the ability to be clothes optional. The ratio of naturists to textiles was lower than hoped for but it did not matter. A strange feeling as long as you did not think about it.
