Flights to Ibiza from the UK and some useful links for flight companies from the UK to Ibiza

There are now many charter and scheduled flights that operate between the UK and Ibiza airport which is where you need to fly to in order to reach Formentera.
Generally, flights operate between the months of May through to October, although please check the timetables with the flight operators.

Flights and transfers to Formentera through Astbury Formentera

The accommodation price we quote normally includes your transfers for free if you let us help you arrange your flights through our recommended agent Village Travel who are fully ABTA bonded.
Astbury Formentera do not sell flights.
Please check with us if you are unsure whether or not the price we have quoted you includes transfers.

Sometimes it may be cheaper for you to arrange your own flights on-line and you organise your transfers independently.
We will help you understand which option may suit you better.

We can co-ordinate everything for you from Ibiza airport to the port in Ibiza, your ferry journey and your taxi journey to your property in Formentera (and the return journey).

If you prefer you can purchase your own cheap on-line flights to Ibiza and buy transfers from us separately (please ask us for the rate).

If you just want to organize your accommodation through us, and manage your own travel arrangements to and from Formentera, you are entirely free to do this.

Ferry timetables between Ibiza and Formentera

From Ibiza Old Town port, there are two ferry companies that operate a very regular ferry route to and from Formentera, please see these useful links for ferry timetables to Formentera.

Ibiza Old Town Port is reached easily by bus (about 3 euros), or by taxi (about 15 euros), from Ibiza airport.

The cost of a one way ferry ticket to Formentera is about 19 euros for adults and slightly less for children but please check on the operator website. We would recommend that you purchase a one way ticket rather than a return, as returns are not that much cheaper, and you need some flexibility about which ferry company you will be returning with from Formentera for your return journey.

Ferries operate every 30 minutes to every hour in the summer season, and the journey takes approximately 35 minutes depending on which ferry you take.

Arriving in Formentera and the onward journey to your property

You will arrive in the Formentera port of La Savina by ferry.
There is a taxi rank immediately as you step off the ferry, and a regular bus service.
You will be able to get a bus timetable from the tourist office at the port.

Formentera is a small island, and depending on where you happen to be staying, the taxi ride will cost between 15 to 25 euros.
